There’s many types of acne, I didn’t know  there’s so many until now, I barely knew some such as; Blackhead and whitehead, upon researching the types, I found so much information which I’ll be sharing with you whether you have acne yet or not. Anyhow, I’ll be describing all the types down below, In that case if you are wondering which type you have, you’ll need to continue reading my post to gain data. Let’s get started!

Blackheads are sometimes easy to spot, it’s basically like whiteheads, it doesn’t contain inflammation in clogged pores but it’s open to the surface. The air combined the Sebum (oil) and Keratin (a protein that is major in the skin) that sticks in the open pore and darken it.

Whiteheads are caused by hair follicles clogged with oil, dead cells and bacteria that harden on the skin, Sebum makes its way inside the surface through the Sebaceous glands and, settles at the end of the follicles, it then compacts with inflammation, the surface will continue to be packed with dead cells and oil.

Papules, are small bumps that doesn’t show any sign of pores, and they’re not white like a whitehead. In a matter of fact, they’re closed off, with red and circles the skin with inflammatory and infected bacteria. It can be really irritating, it itches all the time, so if you do have Papules, don’t bother stretching it. Take the irritated bump, you can do this!

Pustule are known to be a form of acne that shows itself as medium- sized zit on the skin. They have a noticeable white or yellow dot that contains inflammation. If you decided to pop the pulstute, it might swell down a bit, but if the pore is open there’s going to be more infected bacteria floating around in the air. So try your best to keep the opened wound hidden from  air.

Nodules are formed by inflamed tissue that comes together to create a bump. It can grow within any level of the skin, this includes the Subcutaneous layers, the dermis, and the epidermis. Nodules can be easily treatable. Yet, cysts, tumors, boils, and abscesses can be mistaken for Nodules.

These are some of the types of acne, there are cures to heal them. Now that you know them, I hope you now understand how they look and their causes. If you have more questions, Banish will do their best to answer on my behalf.
