Kale & Pomegranate Salad

This superfood salad is loaded with skin-clearing vitamins and antioxidants. Plus, it's delicious! 

This salad is super easy to make. Combine kale, pomegranate seeds, raw walnuts, and avocado in a bowl. Drizzle the salad with olive oil and lemon juice, to your liking. Enjoy!


Why is this salad so good for your skin?

The ingredients in this salad are packed with nutrients that aid the skin. Kale contains vitamins A, B complex, C, E, and K, as well as, manganese, calcium, potassium, iron, magnesium, protein, folate and phosphorus! Needless to say, this vegetable is amazing for you. Pomegranates are packed with polyphenol antioxidants. Polyphenols fight free radicals and regulate skin's blood flow, as well as, reduce lines and wrinkles. Walnuts contain omega-3 essential fatty acids, which improves the skin's elasticity. They also contain copper, which boosts collagen production. Finally, avocado is a huge source of vitamin E and C, which boosts the skin’s luminosity and reduces inflammation.
