There are a lot of factors that contributes to why someone actually breaks out and in this article i will list a few of them.
During the teenage years, our body produces lots of amounts of hormones, especially a hormone which trigger the oil production and is called androgens. Pores will become more clogged and rupture as the oil production is happening more and more inside the pores.
Bacteria also begins to develop and increase, resulting in inflammation. This causes a red and swollen pimple.
Many assume that dirty skin is the cause of acne, but it is not. But if you do have acne and don’t cleanse your face everyday, it might result to a build-up of dead skin cells which can clog pores and lead to breakouts. Also, if you don't remove your makeup properly at night, it might definitely worsen the situation.
There are also ingredients that can cause inflammation which in turn can increase the oil production and result in more breakouts. Therefor, you should avoid products with these irritants such as: alcohol, camphor, menthol and fragrant plant extract.
To get a clearer skin, it takes both determination and patience. That’s why it’s very important to stick to an effective skin care routine. It might be impossible to cure acne, but it is possible to keep it under control. This by using a products that are well-formulated because most of the acne routines contain subjects that can lead to a more oily skin and also create pimples. Today, there are thousands of anti-acne creams which often makes claims that leads to disappointing results. That’s why it’s important to know what ingredients are good and what are bad. What we all need to do is use a cleaner, toner, exfoliant and topical disinfectant and sunscreen every morning and night. These are products that are necessary to keep our skin in control but not everyone has the time or money to spend.
Hair that falls on your face can also cause breakoutsbecause of application of gels and mouses or hairsprays to the hair. That’s why it’s also very important to keep your hair off your face and also reduce amount of products.
Stress and peer pressureare also contributing factors which are brutal for teenagers. Their desire to fit in and belong are very stressful and acne doesn’t help speeding up the process. This is also why acne breakouts are a devastating blow to teenagers self-esteem.
