My Holy Grail Skincare/Hair Care Products

Lush Sea Salt Scrub:
A fairly course scrub made from natural ingredients such as grapefruit infusion, sea salt, avocado butter and lime oil. It was fairly expensive but so worth it if you don’t have sensitive skin and are looking for thorough exfoliation. Really helped smooth out my skin while adding moisture. I also use it on my back, arms and chest for amazingly soft touchable skin.
St Ives Apricot Scrub:
A much more gentle scrub that makes my skin feel so soft and fresh after every use. Would work perfectly for sensitive skin and is much cheaper than the lush scrub as it can be bought from the supermarket. Made from apricot extract and salicylic acid, it removes dead skin really nicely, prevents blemishes, minimizes pores and prevents congestion.
Body Shop Tea Tree Cleanser:
A cream cleanser with a cooling effect and tea tree extract to effectively prevent blemishes. It works especially well on my skin if I steam my face in the shower to open my pores before applying it. After trying many different cleansers, this is the only one I like to use because of its antibacterial qualities, which have a noticeable effect on my blemishes.
Clean and Clear Moisturizer:
This is a really nice, non-oily moisturizer that leaves no residue and doesn’t clog my pores. Doesn’t leave me shiny but skin feels baby soft after use. Its not as natural as the other products I like to use but works so well for my t-zone, which can get oily during the day – especially when I’m at school. It was also really cheap and purchased from the supermarket.
A French moisturizer I bought from a chemist in Paris, which was quite pricy but had such good reviews so I decided to buy it. It does leave my skin feeling really soft and moisturized but I use it sparingly as it does give more of a dewy effect. I would recommend it for those with drier skin.
Origins Super Spot Remover:
Fairly pricy but works so well to remove individual spots in just a few days. As a gel consistency, it’s really easy to apply and a little goes a long way. It heals blemishes with salicylic acid, fades hyperpigmentation and relieves redness.
Clarisonic Mia 2:
I use this to unblock pores and prevent congestion. I tend to use it without a cleaner just to exfoliate and stimulate blood flow to areas where I have acne scars to try speed up the healing process. I use it about twice or three times a week, just because it feels damaging if I use it too often, as it can be quite harsh on sensitive skin.
Burt’s Bees Coconut and Pear Lip Balm:
This lip balm smells absolutely amazing, it’s not sticky and leaves my lips feeling so soft and moisturized. It’s the perfect size for me to keep it in my pocket at school so I can easily apply it throughout the day.
Macadamia Hair Mask:
This is a super deep moisturizing hair mask. It was expensive but comes in a big tub that has lasted me a really long time so far. It makes my hair smell and feel amazing – so shiny and soft. It moisturizes dry ends really well also. I aim to use it once or twice a week.
