Aztec Healing Clay for acne was something that I used to use on my hair every now and then, I would mix it with Apple Cider Vinegar and let it sit for a while. When I read online that you could use it as a face mask, I was so happy because it did wonders with my hair! The only thing that I was worried about was the smell; Apple Cider Vinegar is not the best smelling thing around, so putting it on my face made me a little nervous. It worked on my acne for a while, but after a year my skin was much better off without it.
The feeling of the mask can be a little uncomfortable at first because, it gets really really tight, to the point where you can barley smile or else the mask will crack, which is extremely painful! I kept it on for about 15 minutes and it was rock solid. I figured the easiest and cleanest way to get it off was to take a shower. It was a little difficult to get off because it was so dry, but I washed it off with some warm water. My face was so red afterward it seriously looked like I was sun burnt. After the first use, I was pretty impressed.
My skin was extremely smooth and it made my face feel really clean! After about five uses, I began to get pimples all over my face, which I was not happy about. One of my terrible habits it picking at my pimples, so I began popping them and was left with scars. I figured that if I continued using the face mask, it would get rid of the scarring, but it only kept making my skin worse. After about a year of disappointment from using Aztec Healing Clay for acne, I finally gave up on it and started to notice my face was actually getting better. It was not completely clear but I stopped getting pimples for a while.
Just to be sure that it was the face mask that made me breakout, I tried it out again and the next day, I had broken out again. So, as of 3 months ago, I haven’t used the Aztec Healing Clay and there has been a significant difference in my skin. All in all, the Aztec Healing Clay for acne did nothing but make my skin worse. I really do not know how other people got it to work for them, but it definitely was not the right product for me, maybe my skin was just too sensitive for it.
