The Power of Coconut Oil

Trying to fade away my acne scars has been extremely difficult for me. I have searched high and low for different natural home remedies that help fade scarring. One that has made a difference is coconut oil.

After I stopped using face masks, I began using coconut oil and it has improved my face quite a bit.

One thing that I struggled with for a while was dry skin. I found that Coconut Oil can help with dry skin.  For a while, my cheeks were so dry it was like when you get a sun burn and your skin starts to peel, that’s exactly what my skin was doing and it was just so gross! I started to put Coconut oil on the dry area and I literally noticed a difference the next morning.

I really love how soft Coconut Oil makes your skin feel. You don’t really need to use that much on your face, but you do want to make sure you don’t put on a lot because it can make your face feel really gross and oily.

I started putting some on at night time then when I woke up in the morning I would use it before I put my foundation on. I also read that consuming Coconut Oil can help with your skin, so I’ve been eating/drinking (depends on the temperature) it every day.

All I do is take a spoonful in the morning. The taste does take a little bit of getting used to, but all you have do is think about all the good that it is doing for your skin. Since it does taste a little gross, sometimes I put some Coconut Oil in my water. When I do this, I can’t really taste it, so that is a major plus!

And when I put it on my face before I put on foundation, I make sure that I do not use too much because, it can get very oily and it can make it hard to blend your makeup.

All in all, Coconut Oil has really helped improve my skin. It’s made my skin extremely soft and less dry. I can also see a difference in my acne scars. It has faded a few of them from my cheeks, not a lot, but I can definitely see a difference in my scars. Coconut Oil has literally been the best at home remedy that I have used so far.
