Hi guys! This is Prettyprogress23 aka Elizabeth here. Today I will talk about acne scarring and how toreally get rid of acne scars. For example , I've been using the Banish Line for a long time, so one of the biggest questions I get is does the Banish line actually work?
How To Really Get Rid Of Acne Scars
I've been using Banish for my acne scars for 6 1/2 months now so Ireally wanted to update you guys on how my skin has changed. I want to show a demo of the products I use too in my acne scar routine.
Before I use my Banish Products, I wipe off all my make up with my Face Halo wipe and then I went in with my Tribe Skin Care Cleanser so my face is very fresh.
The first thing I use is the Banish Dermaroller. * Update - the Banish Dermaroller has an updated Banisher 2.0 for fading acne scars faster! * During my 6 months using it, I took a break in May or April because I was going through a severe breakout, but during that time I use the Banisher Stamp Instead.
Here's The Steps I Took To Get Rid Of Acne Scars
Step 1Using the Banisher Dermaroller: Make sure that you disinfected the Banisher derma roller before use! I disinfected mine with Witch Hazel, but it's recommended to use at least 60% rubbing alcohol.
I have a spot of active acne, so I avoid that spot and I roll over the areas of hyperpigmentation. Hyperpigmentation is a type of acne scarring that happens from inflammation.
So I roll up in one direction, 4 times each.
I make sure that when I roll it, I pick it up each time instead ofaggressively rolling back and forth. So I roll in one direction and I'll do this on other areas of my skin too.
Andhonestly, this side, right, as you can see there's faint like little scars but it used to be so much worse than that.
It used to be very very very dark and after using the Banisher Dermaroller, it hasreally boosted the collagen in my skin and faded my acne scars. My skin is much more plump and the discoloration on my skin has faded so much.
So I continue doing 4 rolls in each direction on the place I have acne scars. So roll up 4 times, then diagionally 4 times, and horizontally 4 times. Other areas I use my Banisher dermaroller on is the nose and forehead. If I don't have scarring in an area, then I won't really use it there.
So I've been doing that at least once every 2 weeks and I can see every single month my skin is getting better and betterin terms of texture, plumpness - the hyper pigmentation is fading!
So that's pretty much what I do with the Banisher. After micro needling with the Banisher, you would want to use the Banish Oil.
Step 2: Using A Vitamin C Serum
The Banish Oil has lots and lots of vitamin c.. it's basically a vitamin c serum. It's clear so you know it isn't oxidized and is still effective because when vitamin c is mixed with water, it can start to degrade and turn rusty colored. So I'm going to use a few drops of that, rub it in my hand and pat it into my skin. Some people go overboard with vitamin c, but for me Ijust use a little bit causeI feel like there's so much in it and it covers most of my face.
Step 3 : Hydrate with Vitamin C Creme
After the Banish oil, I use my Vitamin C Creme for the extra hydration. I love the Vitamin C Creme. It goes onreallyreallysmoothly. Then I top it up with my Vitamin C Beauty Elixir which I love. Honestly, it's the best! Ijust spritz it all over my face and then it pretty much seals everything in and now my face is ready to heal.
So that's what I do every 2 weeks and it's made a lot of difference to my skin.
So my general night skincare routine for acne scars is I'll use the Banish Pumpkin Masque for hyperpigmentation. Itreally sheds all the old skin cells and then I'll cleanse so I use the Tribe Skin Care cleanser. After that is my derma rolling routine with Banish, after I apply my Banish Oil, then my Banish Vitamin C Creme which Iabsolutely adore and after that, I spray with the Beauty Elixir. It's best to just go to bed or use it when you're done with your day since you shouldn't wear makeup right after a dermarolling or microneedling session.
I've seen a huge difference and I highly highly recommend it. So I hope that you enjoyed this tutorial. You can find me, I'm @prettyprogress23, on all my social media and I'm sending you all my love and light. Comment below what else you'd like to hear me talk about!
