How to Use the Activated Charcoal Clay Masque

By: Rachel

The  Activated Charcoal Clay Masque is one of my favorite go-to masks for when I am experiencing a breakout and when  I just need something to calm it down a little bit. The breakout I experienced forms together in a little group. Moreover, there was hyperpigmentation and even scarring on my face, which appears like marks, but smooth and soft. It was just the marks that have been left behind from the deep cystic spots. I was also suffering from blackheads as well. The Activated Charcoal Masque targeted those areas, including the blackheads and blemishes.

The Activated Charcoal Clay Masque is 25 mL and comes in a powdered form. One of the main reasons that I love this mask is because it contains natural ingredients. It doesn't contain any sulfates, any silicones, any dyes, any fragrance - ingredients of the sort that will irritate the skin and make it red or cause even more breakouts.

Suitable for oily, combination, and normal skin types.

I took half a teaspoon of the mask. It can also be mixed with the  Vitamin C Spray. You may mix a little bit of the mask with water. I chose to mix it with apple cider vinegar, which is one of the more natural remedies to clearing up spots and it's also really good for reducing age spots and hyperpigmentation as well.  You only need a tiny little bit of this mask, a tiny amount goes such a long way. I just kept on mixing it until it comes to a paste-like formula. The mask is targeted for normal skin types, as well as being suitable for combination and oily skin. I applied a thin layer to my face.

Once you have applied it evenly all over the face,  leave it on for 10 minutes. Then, you can wash it off. Just a few minutes into the mask, you will notice that the skin starts to feel really tight and the mask will start to dry.  I always like it when you put on a mask and you can actually feel it working. You can feel it doing something.

Once the mask has dried up, you can go ahead and wash it off. You can see even clearer now the areas in which it has pulled out any impurities.  When removing the mask, your face will appear a little red. This is completely normal and it will go down within the next day. You may follow this up with your favorite moisturizer. I use the  Vitamin C Creme because it is kind to my skin and doesn't cause me breakout. The reason why your face is red is that the charcoal actually stimulates the blood flow as well.

Activated charcoal draws bacteria, poisons, chemicals, dirt, and other micro-particles to the surface of the skin, helping you to achieve a flawless complexion and fight acne.It has the ability to absorb impurities up to 100 to 200 times its weight.

Worth trying!Would recommend it to anyone!
