Hey! It’s Ashley and today I will be talking about Cetaphil daily facial cleanser. This cleanser is 16 fl oz (431 mL).  The price is 9.99 at Walmart.

This product is formulated for normal to oily skin. It is supposed to remove excess oil without drying and is clinically proven to the deep clean skin. This cleanser is also non-comedogenic, non-irritating, and dermatologist recommended.  This product removes surface oils, dirt, and makeup without leaving skin tight or overly dry rinses clean without leaving any pore-clogging residue, and gentle for everyday use. Based on the package/bottle.

But the thing about this product that made me kind of hesitate is the fact that this product has sulfates in it. And if it is not good for hair, is skin any different? But I still decided to use this cleanser. The ingredients include in order: water, glycerin, peg-200 hydrogenated glyceryl palmate, butylene glycol, sodium lauroyl sarcosinate, acrylates/steareth-20 methacrylate copolymer, peg-7 glyceryl cocate, sodium laureth sulfate, phenoxyethanol, masking fragrance, panthenol, peg-60 hydrogenated castor oil, disodium edta, and methylparaben.

To remind you of my skin type, I am oily, sensitive, acne- prone skin, but I also have cystic acne, which is acne/bacteria under the skin. With using this cleanser, I felt that my skin was a little bit dry, but not overly super dry that my skin is tight. This cleanser also removes makeup very well.  Once I had a full face of makeup on and I used olive oil (which is a great makeup remover, also with coconut oil) and this cleanser and my face was so clean. Very clean.

I also used the spin for perfect skin face cleansing brush set while using both of those products. I felt so amazed by how clean my skin was by using this cleanser.  But on another note, my skin does get a bit dry but it is not irritating or itchy. Also, this cleanser lasts a while, depending on how heavy- handed or light-handed you are.

I use this product in the nighttime on the day of when I wear makeup, but not really in the morning. Only if I feel like my skin needs a deep clean. I would use this around the summer and spring seasons because my skin gets really oily and It feels a bit dirty so that’s why I would use it around then. All in all, I give this product a 7 out of 10 and let me know you have used this product or want to use it.
