Turmeric is a natural antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and skin brightener. It also helps to balance and restore the skin’s pH level which helps to fade dark spots. Turmeric can come in both powder and capsule form. Turmeric can also be mixed with honey to create a mask that will help lighten spots and treat existing acne.
