I feel like I'm constantly hunting for the perfect primer, and with so many on the market it has almost become ritualistic. Buy one, try it for awhile, find something wrong with it, repeat. I've tried so many primers these days that I rarely find one that I end up using to the point of needing (or wanting) to repurchase. My makeup closet has become a graveyard of partially used products. I'm really bad with returning things, and I think I justify it on some level as something I'll want to try out again in the future. I mean, what would happen if one day I REALLY wanted to use THIS primer and I had returned it?! Tragedy! So, instead of regretting returning I'd rather regret buying. I know, it doesn't make a lot of sense to me either.
When I heard about Touch In Sol's No Poreblem Primer I was drawn to it like a moth to a flame. I haven't had much luck with other pore perfecting primers. They either don't work well enough for my particular pores, break me out, or they contain so much silicone that my foundation practically slides off my oily areas within just a few hours. I almost didn't buy this primer because I thought it might end up like all the others, but after doing some research on it and reading the rave reviews from the beauty community I knew I needed to try it out.
When I went to purchase on Sephora's site I saw what every beauty lover dreads to see: 'Out Of Stock'. In a state of despair and panic I turned to my trusty Amazon and lo' and behold, there it was! Whats more, it was cheaper! Score! I was elated and hit 'Buy It Now' without a second thought while a wave of gratification flowed over me.
What Does This Primer Do?
Touch In Sol is a cruelty free Korean beauty brand that frankly I had never heard of before finding out about No Poreblem. They don't have a TON of products which actually made me feel a bit more secure in deciding to purchase since it seems like they're more selective about what they're releasing, at least, that's the way it came across.
Touch In Sol's No Poreblem Primer claims that it is “A primer with light and silky texture that erases the appearance of pores and fine lines”. Well, I need all the help I can get in that area, that's for sure. No Poreblem also contains Green Tea extract and soluble collagen which are nice added benefits, and is free of parabens, sulfates, and phthalates.
Touch In Sol's No Poreblem Primer comes in a transparent frosted glass bottle with a black pump and cap. I absolutely LOVE it's packaging! There's just something about a glass bottle that takes a product up a notch and makes it feel more luxurious. The glass bottle does make it less than ideal for traveling, but this is an aspect I'm willing to overlook. The primer itself can be seen through the frosted glass and it's a really pretty baby pink that appeals to my inner child. I feel like you get a good amount of product for the price (1.01 oz 30ml). At Sephora it retails for $18, but on Amazon I purchased it for $16. Granted, it's not the most inexpensive primer, but I don't think it's outrageous either. I think the price point is still rather workable even if you're on a budget.
The Consistency is gel-like.
No Poreblem has a gel-like consistency and has a subtle, pleasant, floral scent. I'm typically not a fan of floral scents, but this scent is really nice and has a somewhat calming and clean fragrance. Typically, my skin can handle scented products well, but if yours does not tolerate scented products at all, I'd be cautious and perhaps do a patch test to see if you have any sort of reaction. The scent isn't over powering or cloying by any means, and it DOES dissipate.
A little of this primer goes a long way and I feel like the amount dispensed by the pump with one pump generally works for my entire face. You can feel the silicone as you start to apply it to your skin. However, it surprisingly doesn't have that greasy or oily feel that a lot of silicone primers produce, but it still has a really beautiful slip on the skin. It almost feels like a gel moisturizer and it drys down pretty quickly to a soft, silky finish that doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy or tacky. Honestly, I really love how my skin feels after it sets. It makes my skin feel ridiculously soft. Instantly, there really IS a huge difference in the texture of my skin...it really DOES seem to blur pores and fine lines! If you take a look at the photos, you can see how pronounced the pores and lines on my hand look before working the primer into my skin. If you ask me, it's a pretty significant difference.

Primer Wear Time And Results
No Poreblem really does make my pores less noticeable whether I'm wearing foundation or not. No Poreblem also keeps fine lines smoothed throughout the day, all while greatly increasing the overall wear time of my foundation. I've tried it with liquid, cream, and powder foundations and it has performed well with all three, even in the heat and humidity. With that being said, it doesn't do anything for controlling oil, but it doesn't claim to. If your skin does get oily, you may find that you still have to blot throughout the day to remain shine free. Despite this, No Poreblem does not cause my foundation to break up or slide off my oily areas whatsoever. This is a game changer for me since typically, by mid-day, silicone based primers cause my oily areas to lose their coverage altogether, especially in the summer when my oil production is kicked into high gear.
Is The No Poreblem Primer Worth It?
Touch In Sol's No Poreblem Primer has now become my daily primer and hasn't seen the inside of my makeup closet once since purchasing. I can definitely see myself using up this entire bottle with how much I use it. In fact, I even use it when I'm not going to be wearing makeup in order to smooth out the overall texture of my skin. I am seriously obsessed with how soft it makes my skin feel and how smooth it makes my skin look! What's more, it has not caused my acne-prone skin to break out! I've been using it consistently for 3 weeks which is well over the time it typically takes to see a product affect my skin negatively.
I think that No Poreblem is a fantastic primer and will likely work beautifully for all skin types. It feels moisturizing and helps keep foundation from accentuating dry patches, it blurs the appearance of pores and fine lines expertly, and it prevents foundation from pooling, settling and sliding off oily areas. Touch In Sol's No Poreblem Primer definitely lives up to the hype, delivers on it's promises, and in my opinion, is worth it's price tag.
