My name is Mari Francesca Lorica and I have already been suffering from really bad acne all over my face since I was around just 11 years old. I have just now turned 18 years old and I still a have a very bad case of acne and acne scars.
When I was around 12 years old, things started to look good for me for my face actually started to clear up in some sort of a miracle, until the year when I turned 13 years old already my face just kept breaking out. I also do think that it was most likely because I have just started with my menstruation cycle that time. Well, in current times, things are not looking so good for me up until now since I have to say that my entire face seems to be a place acne wants to just live like it’s already their home and they do not ever want to leave me after years of trying to get rid of them. So to say, unfortunately, my cheeks, my nose, my chin, my forehead and even my eyebrows are covered with acne.
It sounds really bad when I typed that because those might be an overstatement when it comes to describing them, but I am serious when I actually said that they exist in those parts of my face for I am definitely acne prone.
I also assumed it’s mostly because of my condition in the inside of my body which is my acidity problem. I have this thing called Gastroesophageal reflux disease or in short GERD, which is a digestive disorder wherein my body reacts a lot depending on the food that I eat on a daily basis, but in all honesty, I really cannot stop eating delicious fried chicken, burgers, bacon and other oily delights that soothes the monster craving within. I am pretty sure that indulging in the food that I eat all the time has definitely caused me good skin as well, but, I also have oily skin, which contributes gravely to worsening the condition of my acne. Another plus is the heat of my tropical country which is not helping at all either since I’ve heard sun exposure just threatens you from removing acne. I have to say all the odds are surely against me when it comes to me trying to improve the state of my face.
