One of my biggest regrets in life is popping my pimples. I was young and frustrated and impatient, but most of all, I just wanted my pimples to disappear. I used to pick at my pimples, simply for the satisfaction of seeing them vanish for 4 or 5 seconds.
Little did I know that my distasteful habit would haunt me to this day. Picking pimples is one of the worst things that you could ever do to your skin. I promise you. Just by touching your face with your hands, you're spreading countless bacteria around.
When you pop a pimple, you are irritating your skin and spreading even more bacteria around. What's worse is that popping pimples significantly increases your chances of scarring. Scars are extremely tough to get rid of, let alone fade. Scars are a problem that's deep under the skin's surface.
Lack of collagen production causes pitted scars and rolling scars, while an overproduction of collagen causes a scar that protrudes the skin's surface. It's nearly impossible to reverse this damage without some type of surgical or cosmetic procedure.
I have been using MSM cream because, according to the research I've done, it restores and repairs skin and collagen tissue. This cream is generally used for regular scars or surgical scars, but I've decided to use it for my many acne scars. This cream contains vitamin A, D, and E, all responsible for the health and regeneration of skin.
It also contains an important component of sulfur, which is the magic that jump-starts the collagen production. It's not working wonders for my acne scars, but I think I'm beginning to see improvement. I've been using this MSM cream for about 3 months now, but there hasn't been a notable difference in my scars.
It's understandable that there hasn't been much change because my scars are so deep and old, but it was worth a shot. All of my scars are pitted box car scars, so I could imagine how hard it would be to get rid of them. I have considered saving up for a dermatologist's help, but I clearly cannot afford to do that with college coming up in less than a year.
Banish really is my last shot at my acne scars because I'm tired of wasting money on products that can't help me. I managed to clear up my skin, with a few breakouts from time to time, but I'm still riddled with acne scars. I'm hoping that Banish's roller will finally let me live life with clear, glowing skin.
