While I was searching for products to help me with my acne, I stumbled upon the Korean skincare brand COSRX. A lot of their products are cult favorites in the K-beauty community. They are so popular that some people’s skin care routine consists of most of their products. They are known for being not too expensive with their pricing for their products, their prices range up to 30 dollars which are affordable when it comes to acne treatments because they can sometimes pass the 50 dollar mark. I purchased these products about a year ago and I have finished most products so here is my COSRX skincare brand review for them.
COSRX AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner
This is one of those spray type toners but it doesn’t have a very fine mist. The packaging is simple; it has a see through plastic bottle with the sticker over it. When it comes to the actual product inside, it’s just average. It’s nice and moisturizing, the texture it has resembled water but I didn’t see any difference with my skin or acne. It claims that it will reduce blackheads, acne, and whiteheads but I didn’t see that either. I still had breakouts popping up, not from this product but it was just my skin. Although it had AHA and BHA which are chemical exfoliants, it did not do anything to my skin. I didn’t see a difference. I just ended up just finishing this product not because it worked; I just didn’t my money to be wasted. The toner lasted me about 6 months; I think that you would like this product only if you are only suffering from a little bit of redness because this toner helped a little bit with my rosacea I had back then.
COSRX One Step Pimple Clear Pads
This is an award winning product but in my opinion, I don’t see why. It claims to gently chemically exfoliate your face without drying it out. Active ingredients are supposed to penetrate deeply into the pores to dissolve oil and dead skin cells which help with breakouts. With my experience, it did nothing for my skin and I was highly disappointed by this product because it was so hyped up by others online. It was moisturizing and I did like the smell, it has a smell of tea tree but it’s not too strong that I wouldn’t be able to handle it. I still had breakouts, I still had whiteheads and it made no difference. To further disappointment, this was quite expensive, I paid 23 dollars for 70 pads and you do go through this quickly, well I did because I used this twice a day. This product just didn’t work out for me but maybe others will enjoy this product.
COSRX BHA Blackhead Power Liquid
This is a chemical exfoliant that works deep under the skin to help with blackheads and cell turnover to treat and prevent acne. Many people love this but to me, this is an average skin care product. Many people see a massive difference with their blackheads and blemishes but to me it did nothing. It’s good to use before going in and extracting the dirt and gunk from your pores since this loosens it up but that’s the only reason why I like this. It didn’t help my blackheads disappear as people said it would and it didn’t help my acne either. Some users also say that this has the ability to fade acne scarring when you use this religiously and I did see a tiny difference but it wasn’t enough to say “Wow! Get this product” to my friends. It does last you a long time, I’m still not halfway through my bottle and I have been using this for about 7 months now. A little product goes a very long way.
COSRX Acne Pimple Master Patch
If you have a pimple you’ve just popped or you just have a blemish you want to reduce in size by 70 percent then get these pimple patches. They are truly amazing and it is by far one of my Holy Grail pimple treatments. I once had a huge pimple that was inflamed and it hurt so bad to touch it and when I put this on the night before, it literally disappeared by the morning. This is by far one of the best acne treatments out there and it is affordable. You pay around three to four dollars for 24 patches. It’s totally worth it!
Well, I really hope that this COXRX skincare brand review has helped you a lot.
